To run VisBio on Linux, download and unpack the following archive.

The included "visbio" script launches VisBio. Just type "./visbio" at the command line.

The VisBio Linux distribution above comes with the Java Runtime Environment v1.4.2_05 and Java3D v1.3.1. If you wish to install the JRE and Java3D yourself instead, you can do so.

• Java 2 Runtime Environment (JRE)
• Java3D Runtime for the JRE

The following VisBio archive is not bundled with the JRE, but instead uses the JRE installed on your system.
